The members of GootGenuG (pron. “goot genook,” from the German phrase gut genug, “good enough”) come from a variety of backgrounds, musical and otherwise, and this diversity makes for a combination of sonic personalities that produce many interesting musical conversations. With a preference for fusion – jazz mixed with funk, R&B, and Latin music – they have been exploring the improvisational stratosphere since 2018, performing a mix of originals and classics by familiar jazz artists.
